Share Your Passion:  How Your Personal Interest Can Turbocharge Your Business Relationships

There is nothing better than when your hobbies and your work come together.  It's the perfect blend of emotions... great emotions which are contagious to customers.

We all know golfers who entertain clients at the club. It's a classic and can work very, very well.

BUT WHAT IS YOUR PASSION, AND HOW DO YOU LINK IT TO CLIENT DEVELOPMENT?

I know a salesman who loves baseball and runs the softball league for the real estate community.  He has a website, writes a weekly column, recruits sponsors... he's having great fun and has gotten to know everybody in real estate in the process!

Another sales buddy started a fantasy football league that includes clients.  A fly-fishing friend sends out weekly reports on river conditions.

Remember, there is no law against having fun while pursuing your livelihood.  Let your personal passions wash over to your career... magical things can develop from the positive energy!
