Win/Win Charitable Work

If you are selling a consumer-type good or service with some decent margins, try this:  Pick out a local charity (or two or three) and tell them that if they co-promote your stuff to their constituency, you will donate X% of the proceeds to the charity.  It's a win-win that is often appealing to nonprofits.  And as an extra tip... be sure your contribution is communicated at the board level where the big hitters (buyers) circulate!
