Whole Foods is on fire! It is opening stores everywhere and its
stock, while currently catching its breath, has been a killer on Wall
Street. The key... it has established a powerful, definable niche.
Whole
Foods is the healthy alternative. Fresh, clean, diverse.
Now, the fact is, you can also buy all sorts of unhealthy stuff there,
but that's not the point. It offers more healthy products than
anyone else and that's its message, pure and simple.
As
salespeople, we all need to establish a defined niche--a
brand--something unique we are known for. Research has shown time
and again that buyers love specialists--experts. This week, think about who you are, what your niche is, and try to really hone in on that message when you interact with prospects and customers. It pays to stand out and claim a niche!
