Selling to a business owner or CEO? Here is how you work your way into "the club":
Comb
your rolodex and find a prospective client for your prospect. Be
sure it's a real prospect and check off with your contact first.
Then, at an opportune time in the meeting, declare . . .
"Oh
by the way, I mentioned to one of my clients/friends, Jack Walsh over
at Bolex, that we're meeting today… and he would very much like to meet
you, perhaps over breakfast."
You have just elevated yourself from "salesperson" to "player"--and if you can deliver the business, the "quid pro quo" will usually be swift and satisfying . . . new business . . . for you!
