Speaking of Golf...

I went to a school fundraiser at a local golf club the other day and was surprised to see several impressive tables lined up representing big golf vendors.  They were showing off new clubs, giving some away, and engaging participants in demonstrations.

I inquired how this had been set up, and the vendors said the organizers "just called us...we are always happy to contribute."

Obviously a win/win... the charity event gets some added lustre, and the vendors a chance to promote.  It elevated the entire event to another level for everybody concerned!
