Thanksgiving is a great week! Kids coming home from school. Gathering with family and friends. And without the pressure of the Christmas holidays . . . yet.
Of course, in the background is all the noise about the government and the upcoming elections. But let’s face it, it all starts on Thursday, at home, with family.
If we take care of business at that level, if we stabilize those relationships and work together toward security and prosperity with those closest to us, if we continue to perpetuate and celebrate the work ethic and self-sufficiency that is responsible for so many of the good things that have happened in this country, then we can reach out to one another and figure things out.
But it all starts at home, like it always has, and always will.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
